Maria is a 21-year-old student with a propensity for day-dreaming and over-thinking, taking a much needed break from mechanical engineering to experience Louisiana through the eyes of some of literature’s most influential figures. A Brazilian-born Floridian, she is excited to be back in the warm embrace of her native South.
