Kamryn Scott is a sophomore at USC double majoring in Anthropology and Non-Governmental Organizations and Social Change with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship at the Marshall School of Business. Kamryn plays trombone in the Trojan Marching Band, and while the band has given her a wonderful family and many rich experiences, she is eager to explore what USC has to offer outside of this program. When Andrew held his information session for the New Orleans Maymester, Kamryn shares that it seemed like there was no choice in the matter — she had to go! She wanted to bookpack to reignite her love of reading, see Louisiana and specifically New Orleans through a different, deeper lens, and dive deep into a place that so beautifully showcases America’s history. And of course, how could she not be excited about the live music?
