Simone Jackson is majoring in the Business of Cinematic Arts with a minor in Screenwriting with dreams to write and direct. She is also a Nike athlete who plays for USC Women’s Soccer team as well as US Soccer’s U-23 Women’s National Team. She has been blessed through sport to travel to numerous countries and cities, but is most excited about New Orleans because it’s where her grandparents originate in addition to her family’s recipes. Furthermore, she is fascinated by the unique history and endless stories New Orleans holds. She can’t wait to immerse herself in the bookpacking experience because for a month, she can rest as an athlete, and simply be a student.
