Kianna Armstrong is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer in her second year studying architecture at the University of Southern California. She is a lover of art and 80s hip hop. Most days you can find her hanging out with friends in the architecture studio or playing pickup soccer. As a Black woman she is enthusiastic about expressing her unique perspective through her designs. She is passionate about using her background in architecture to un-design inequities that manifest in the built environment. This belief motivated her to lead the nonprofit Architecture + Advocacy (A+A), which empowers community members with the architectural skills to design grassroots change in their neighborhoods.
